Memorial Tribute Videos
Newell Funeral Home continually strives to offer more value to the families we service and community in which we live in. We feel the memorial tribute video/DVD will be a cherished keepsake family and friends will want to watch over and over again. Families will appreciate the moving personal remembrance of their loved one that we capture in our memorial tribute videos and we consider it a gift from Newell Funeral Home for choosing our funeral home.
Friends and Family can view the memorial tribute videos on-line, it will also be displayed during visitation and funerals at both Newell Funeral Home locations in Mount Vernon and Waltonville. Photo memorial boards are still available for use at Newell Funeral Home as well.
There are many people who were born and raised in Jefferson County who are still very close to their roots, but live far away and cannot make it back to this area to attend their loved one's or friends services. Many Jefferson County residents move to Florida for the winter, relocate due to their career or family, even our local military service men and woman who are stationed on the other side of the world can access our memorial tribute videos, obituaries or leave on-line condolences at our website. Not to mention we have many residents in Jefferson County who are homebound.
Personal presence of friends and family should never be replaced by on-line condolences or viewing of our online memorial tribute video - but for those who are far away that cannot travel, they have an option to reach out to their friends and families and to take part in a small portion of the funeral services and to let families we service know they are thinking of them. Local residents also take part in sharing thoughts of their loved one. When someone experiences a lost, stories shared from friends and family is a big part of the healing process.
It is one way we can reach out to the community and to the families we serve to help them give tribute to their loved one. Currently obituaries and on-line condolences are available on our website.
